Book!

The 13 artists and artist collectives in New Image Sculpture create unique visions of the world we encounter on a daily basis. Regardless of what they make or how they make it, in the end these artists transform ordinary stuff into objects of extraordinary engagement.

A full-color, 128-page book surveying the work of these artists, with text by the exhibition’s organizer RenĂ© Paul Barilleaux and critic Eleanor Heartney, accompanies the New Image Sculpture exhibition.

I'm really honored to be included in this exhibition with such great artists. I can't post the whole book, so here is a Jade-centric sample:

out the door....

The King and Kitty Joe.

Here are some last minute snapshots of some other elements of the installation headed down to San Antonio. The work is all packed up and currently en route to the McNay. I'm pretty excited to have the week off before I follow it down there on Sunday to begin the install (which i'm also super excited about). Need a little R&R. This 4am to 4pm studio schedule is wearing me down.
